It functions as a prepaid balance to order Content and Services. The Steam Wallet is neither a bank account nor any kind of payment instrument. Steam may make available an account balance associated with your Account (the "Steam Wallet"). Originally posted by Steam Subscriber Agreement:C. Steam wallet how to#
My question is: can anyone provide any further information on how to withdraw funds I have no intention of using on Steam? Or if there is any support people I can actually talk with? I am switching over to Epic Games Store due to Steam's lack of support and outdated platform and would appreciate having back my $100. I haven't bought a game from Steam in about two years. It is detailed that refunds are held on a case by case basis, but I believe this to be false due to receiving only auto generated replies from Steam support.

I have attempted to refund this money, but I keep receiving denials to my requests because it exceeds the two week period. I received a refund for the game after requesting one.Īfter a couple months, I realised I never withdrew my $100 from my Steam wallet. I bought Red Dead Redemption 2, but after playing it for only a few minutes I decided to return it because I don't have the money for a $100 game at this time. However there were problems with this card, so I used my actual credit card. Around Christmas time I wanted to purchase a game for myself with a VISA gift card.
